TBFTSS – The Pandoran War

Hi there,

Thanks for visiting my blog. šŸ™‚

We’ve been seeing several ports of games to AmigaOS 4 during the last weeks. I’m thinking of titles such as Command & Conquer, Augustus (Caesar III), Doom 3, and BlobWars: Attrition.

The porter of BlobWars, George Sokianos, has done it again and ported The Battle for the Solar System: The Pandoran War.

This is a 2D mission-based space shooter based on the Battle for the Solar System space opera novel trilogy.

You can play as starfighters from the trilogy, engage in battles against pirates, traitors, the Pandoran Army, and much more.

It requires a fast system to play nicely, which includes a graphics card supporting either OpenGL or OpenGL ES2 with SDL2. It has been tested working fine on an AmigaOne X5000/40 with a RadeonRX 550.

The game can be downloaded from OS4Depot.

To play the game, you need the data files here. You can click on this link to visit the official website.

Great to see another port by George Sokianos! šŸ™‚ If you want to support his work, you can buy him a cup of coffee at Ko-fi.

Thanks for reading. See you in another post here on Gaming on AmigaOS 4!
