Hi everyone,
Thanks for visiting my blog. š
It is Saturday morning here and I thought I’d make a post about a project I worked on last night.
Some of you may know that I own a Sam440-Flex computer fra ACube Systems. This one was purchased as a complete package from Relec, an Amiga shop in Switzerland. The tower housing the motherboard has become pretty old and it looks worn. It has done its job for sure, so I thought the Sam deserved some new housing. š
I decided to use a Mission SG GGX ATX/mATX case with a Corsair VS650 V3 650W power supply. The tower has a lot of space for various devices as well as very good ventilation. It also sports some blue light, which looks nice.
I’m happy to write that the whole process went fine and the Sam is now back in action again, providing a steady and solid AmigaOS 4.x experience. š
Here are some photos from the project:

Since I took the photo of Workbench above, I have installed a second HDD with 1 TB of extra storage. This is in addition to the 128 GB SSD which is the main drive.
Now for the specs of the computer:
ACube Sam440-Flex 800 MHz – AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition – Update 2
1 GB of RAM
128 GB SSD, 1 TB SATA
ASUS DRW-24D5MT – Internal 24X DVD-burner
Radeon 9250 PCI 128 MB
Sound Blaster Audigy
That was all for now. Thanks for reading and see you in another post here on the Gaming on AmigaOS 4.x blog. š
Have a nice day!

Nice, however the cable management could use some work!
